Leadership Giving

The Sonny Siau Leadership Giving Association

Taking part in United Way leadership giving establishes you as a pillar in our Georgetown and Williamsburg County community. Your example demonstrates the vital importance of personal giving at an exceptional level and provides a solid foundation for ongoing growth and compassionate caring in the essential areas of education, income and health. With one contribution, you allow us through our community initiatives that focus on education, income and health, along with our partner agencies, to continue their essential work in supporting our citizens who need it most.

We invite you to contribute at one of these leadership levels:

Alexis De Tocqueville $10,000 and up
Chairman's Circle $5,000 - $9,999
President's Circle $2,500 - $4,999
Director's Circle $1,000 - $2,499
Leadership Circle $500 - $999

United Way Tocqueville Society

The United Way Tocqueville Society was created to deepen individual understanding of, commitment to, and support of United Way's work: advancing the common good by creating a better life for all. Founded by United Way of America in 1984, the Tocqueville Society recognizes the generosity of individuals and couples who contribute at the highest levels of personal giving, with a minimum annual donation of $10,000 to United Way.

The Tocqueville Society honors the work of French philosopher Alexis de Tocqueville, who toured America in 1831 and wrote eloquently about the generosity and volunteerism that lives in the American heart. Members of the society are caring philanthropists who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to improving the quality of life in our community.
